Role Overview

The Deputy Chief Information Security Officer will play a key role in enhancing cybersecurity defenses and safeguarding the integrity and resilience of critical systems and information for Lamoreaux Search. The ideal candidate will be a mission-driven individual with expertise in integrating people, processes, and technology into a proactive, risk-minded organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the ongoing, daily operations of the Cybersecurity Department, implementing objectives and policies established by leadership.
  • Manage the IT risk management framework to ensure robust defenses against digital threats.
  • Develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies and manage IT risk.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to protect organizational assets and cultivate talent to further cohesion and collaboration across internal and external team members.
  • Participate in user groups, task forces, and steering committee activities with other business functions and organizations to enhance cybersecurity collaboration and initiatives.

Desired Qualifications

  • Twelve years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and information technology, including at least five years of team management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies and manage IT risk.
  • Team leader with demonstrated success in building cultures of accountability and engagement.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of the impact of cybersecurity on organizational processes.

Security Clearance

  • This role requires that applicants can obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance, therefore, Lamoreaux Search is seeking applicants who are U.S. citizens.
