We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer III to join our Structures and Bridge Design Group in Raleigh, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex bridge, building, renewable energy, and ancillary structure designs
  • Conduct bridge and building rehabilitation designs
  • Assist with the development of scope, schedule, and budgets for projects
  • Assist with the management of projects and tasks
  • Assist with marketing and proposal development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master's degree preferred
  • 4+ years of structure and/or bridge design experience required
  • PE License is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation, and NCDOT standards
  • Proficiency in structural design software packages
  • Proficiency in the use of Microstation and/or AutoCAD for plan development
  • NBIS bridge inspection certification is a plus
