Part-time Lactation Consultant for Postpartum Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Part-time Lactation Consultant to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife to provide postpartum care and support to new mothers and their babies.
About the RoleThis part-time position requires 0.6 FTE coverage, with three days of work per week. You will be responsible for supporting newly delivered mother/baby couplets during the postpartum period in a lactation-focused outpatient practice. Your work will involve close collaboration with pediatricians and OB/GYN providers to provide follow-up care and ongoing lactation support for families who choose to breastfeed.
- No call requirements or after-hours work beyond 6:00 pm
- Every third weekend coverage, with two weekends off for every one on
- Open to new graduate Family Nurse Practitioners (strongly preferred) or Certified Nurse Midwives with previous postpartum or pediatric RN experience
- FNP or CNM license, DEA licensure, and PEARS certification required
