Nurse Supervisor Leadership Role in Ambulatory Care

About the RoleThis challenging position involves overseeing the performance of clinical staff, providing coaching and mentoring, developing and implementing best practices, and upholding standards of clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities- Oversight of clinical staff performance, including coaching, mentoring, and professional development
- Implementation of evidence-based best practices to improve patient care and outcomes
- Development and maintenance of a positive and productive work environment
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
- An Associate's Degree in Nursing with at least 3 years of recent RN experience
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- Completion of an ONS-approved Chemotherapy course and maintenance of certification in Cancer Center Infusion East, Infusion, Transfusion Chemotherapy, Outpatient Transfusion
- Board Certification in Lactation Consulting (IBCLC) and maintenance of certification in Lactation Postpartum and Postpartum Care Center
- 3 years of experience managing complex patients or completion of an RN Ambulatory Residency program
- Experience providing clinical education to clinical support staff in an outpatient/ambulatory care/medical group environment
The following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in an ambulatory setting
- 3 years of demonstrated experience in providing progressive leadership, clinical staff education, competency development, and evaluation
- 3 years of experience providing patient education
