Job Summary:
Mercy Hospital is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Gig Nursing Program. As a Gig Nurse, you will have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including day and night, with the opportunity to earn a competitive hourly rate of $30 plus variable shift incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Work flexible hours, including day and night shifts, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts as needed
- Participate in the Gig Nursing Program, which requires a minimum number of hours worked and flexibility to work on short notice
- Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements:
- One year of recent bedside LPN experience in a Med Surg setting, or two years of recent bedside LPN experience in other specialties
- Graduate of a practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients with assistance
