We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team at Swedish Edmonds. As a key member of our medical oncology team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a culture of excellence and compassion.
Responsibilities- Assess, identify, and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Advocate for patients and families, promoting autonomy, dignity, and respect in all interactions.
- Foster a learning environment, facilitating education and professional development for patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Align practice with safety and quality standards, utilizing evidence-based practices and data-driven decision making to improve patient outcomes.
- Lead and coordinate teams, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- ~ 1 year Medical Oncology Nursing experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on patient-centered care.
