Overview:
The role involves assisting in the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals to students in an efficient and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in all aspects of food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Support the preparation of various menu items including salads, sandwiches, and vegetables.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of serving areas.
  • Help in the serving of daily meal offerings.
  • Ensure cleanliness in designated work areas and assist with overall kitchen sanitation.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Previous experience in large-scale food preparation and service is advantageous.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing basic correspondence and effectively communicating in small group settings.

Mathematical Skills:
Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, particularly with currency and measurements.

Work Hours:
8:45 AM - 2:00 PM (5.25 hours/day)

Salary:
As per negotiated contract.
