Job Title: Laboratory Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Associate to join our team at Randstad Life Sciences US. As a Laboratory Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in all processes related to the development lab and supporting product development and sensory lab.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare samples for sensory evaluation, prepare materials for pilot plant trials, and manage shelf-life stability studies for liquid products.
  • Maintain good records of all laboratory work, maintain a safe and clean laboratory work environment, and arrange and conduct product evaluations.
  • Precisely weigh ingredients, conduct bench and midscale lab trials at the direction of project leaders, and analyze intermediate samples.
  • Set up analytical and microbiological analysis requests, continuously keep the product development lab clean and in good order, and arrange shipment of samples and materials out of the lab.
  • Maintain Excel and Word data files of quality records including physical and sensory analysis, comply with company Quality Management System and all other company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (or GED); science coursework a plus.
  • Strong computer skills; Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good interpersonal skills, organized, dependable, independent, self-starter, able to multi-task and oriented to meet deadlines, with good customer service and overall communication skills.
