Fraud Investigator

At HAN Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Fraud Investigator to join our team. As a Fraud Investigator, you will play a critical role in identifying and preventing fraudulent activities within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily reviews of assigned tasks to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
  • Lead and execute fraud prevention, detection, investigation, and response activities for fraud and enterprise security programs and activities.
  • Identify, report, and assist with large-scale fraud events under general direction of management/senior fraud investigators.
  • Manage and lead incident process and handling of fraud investigations, coordinating the creation and implementation of systems and processes to prevent, detect, and respond to fraud based on fraud intelligence and event analysis.
  • Implement, execute, review, and maintain Global Security policy and procedures consistent with global standards and practices.
  • Thoroughly document case chronology and prepare reports, reporting any trends to management and recommending system/policy/procedure changes to mitigate future fraud.
  • Analyze situations, identify practical solutions, and escalate matters as needed.
  • Develop and maintain an established network of internally and externally contacts to gather, exchange, and execute on actionable fraud and security intelligence to best protect Vanguard Crew, information, and client assets.
  • Manage allegations of monetary fraud of $50K or less.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Research and recommend fraud prevention and detection solutions, focusing on development of automated systems and improvements in anti-fraud controls within business systems and processes.
  • Work with business units and stakeholders to recommend and implement fraud prevention and detection measures and controls.
  • Evaluate fraud protection/prevention systems and/or tools for possible implementation.
  • Support project teams as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Serve as an OJI/Mentor to newly hired/promoted Investigators, Interns, and Contractors.
