Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at PHP. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients' respiratory conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of South Dakota
  • 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
