Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for an immediate travel position in Rapid City, SD. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment.
  • Evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions.
  • Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
  • Interact with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of recent acute care experience.
  • BLS, ACLS certifications.
  • NBRC, PALS, and NRP certifications may be required in some areas.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. You should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
