Position Summary:
As an Electronic Security Systems Technician, you will collaborate with a skilled team to install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced electronic security systems and data communication networks. With over two decades of excellence, Trofholz is a recognized leader in safeguarding critical infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend project requirements and adhere to specifications, making deviations only with written consent.
  • Install low voltage cabling for access control, intrusion detection, intercom, and CCTV systems.
  • Set up electronic access control and intrusion detection systems within designated enclosures.
  • Handle the installation and termination of copper and fiber data communication cables.
  • Efficiently complete installations while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Securely mount various equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Configure and program security, access control, and CCTV systems.
  • Conduct system troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Communicate daily progress and activities effectively.
  • Maintain accountability for all tools and materials.
  • Exhibit professionalism in appearance and conduct while representing the company.
  • Be prepared to travel and work flexible hours as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant training certification.
  • 0-2 years of experience in the electronic security systems field.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and practices.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new techniques under guidance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Possession of basic hand tools and understanding of project-specific tools.
  • Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
  • Capability to obtain a government security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with federal government agencies.
  • OSHA Certification.

Compensation: $21.60 per hour.
