Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly assess and categorize donated items for sale in our retail locations.
  • Process donations efficiently to meet production targets in a dynamic environment while following established procedures.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor with all guests.
  • Issue donation receipts to guests at the time of contribution.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues by adhering to agency protocols.
  • Sort donations into specified categories accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with management as needed.
  • Perform tasks consistently according to training materials and guidelines.
  • Evaluate decisions and navigate challenges effectively.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Keep the donation area organized and presentable.
  • Follow safety and security protocols, reporting any hazards or injuries to management.
  • Assist with loading and unloading donations as required.
  • Participate in all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • One year or more of production experience preferred.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive team culture focused on exceptional guest experiences.
  • Basic math and reading skills are essential.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English, along with interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to work at various locations as needed.
  • Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment.

Working Conditions:
  • Must wear appropriate safety footwear upon starting employment.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and dust.
  • Must meet physical requirements, including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand, and walk for extended periods, as well as lift up to 30 lbs.
