Line Cook

Food People Restaurant Group is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the high standards of our customers.

• Food Preparation and Cooking: Skillfully prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to our recipes and specifications.
• Kitchen Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to all kitchen safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
• Plate Presentation and Delivery: Ensure compliance with plate presentation guidelines and timely delivery of food orders to meet customer expectations.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen and ensure that all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
• Inventory Management: Utilize recipe cards and measuring tools accurately for precise ingredient measurements and monitor inventory levels to minimize waste.
• Section Management: Stock and break down sections at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate kitchen equipment and machinery to prepare and cook food.
• Additional Duties: Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned or requested to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

• Experience: Preference for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Work Environment: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Schedule: Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of Food and Health codes.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time.
