We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at Mon Health Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex cardiac catheterization procedures, working closely with our interventional cardiologists to diagnose and treat cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.
Key Responsibilities- Perform endovascular procedures on patients, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements.
- Monitor patients' hemodynamic status and document procedures accurately.
- Assist physicians during procedures, maintaining a sterile field and ensuring proper equipment setup.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures, participating in ongoing education and training.
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered by the A.R.R.T., R.T.(R) is required. Must possess BLS and ACLS certification within probationary period. WV Medical Imaging License required.
- 1-2 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred.
- Travel experience required.
