Position Summary
This role reports directly to the Production Manager and is tasked with overseeing all activities on the production floor. Responsibilities include assisting customers, supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all operational requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and organizational abilities to effectively delegate tasks and ensure staff are adequately trained for their roles. The expected working hours for this position are during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor staff to fulfill assigned roles effectively.
- Manage staff hours through the designated payroll system.
- Oversee inventory management.
- Assist Project Managers with inquiries or requests.
- Collaborate with the Scheduler to ensure optimal floor operations.
- Lead the Production Control Team to ensure accurate job orders are processed on the floor.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within a production environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly across various functions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to work night shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a customized manufacturing setting.
