We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Cone Health in Burlington, NC. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the advancement of medical research.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care to assigned areas, including medical supervision of the interdisciplinary team and supervision of residents and medical students.
- Participate in clinical research projects, provide accurate and timely documentation, and maintain up-to-date medical records for billing purposes.
- Model and uphold professional standards of Cone Health, including Medical Staff By-Laws, Service Excellence commitments, and practice standards.
- Engage in continuous improvements, use evidence-based practices, and work towards preeminent healthcare and service.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from a Medical School recognized by the North Carolina Medical Board.
- Completed residency training and board certification recognized by either the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association in Family Medicine.
- Fully licensed to practice medicine in the state of NC and meet requirements of the Moses Cone Health System Medical Staff by-laws.
- Experience in Family Medicine or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
