Gastroenterologist Specialist

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and liver disease.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency care for patients with gastrointestinal emergencies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in gastroenterology and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in internal medicine or pediatrics and a fellowship program in gastroenterology or pediatric gastroenterology.
• Board certification or eligibility in gastroenterology or pediatric gastroenterology.
• Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Minnesota.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
