The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is a world-renowned academic medical center and research institution. We are seeking a highly skilled Transplant Nurse Specialist to join our team.

Estimated Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description:

The Transplant Nurse Specialist will play a crucial role in the care and management of transplant patients. This includes coordinating pre- and post-transplant care, educating patients and families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Coordinate transplant patient care from initial evaluation to post-transplant follow-up
  • Educate patients and families about transplant procedures, medications, and lifestyle changes
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  • Current RN licensure in South Carolina or compact state
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in transplant nursing
  • Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) certification preferred
