Job Title: RN PreOp PACU

Job Summary:

The RN PreOp PACU will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This includes assessing patients' preoperative and postoperative status, developing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' preoperative and postoperative status, including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, and hemodynamic stability.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on postoperative care and management.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • One year of experience in preoperative or PACU nursing.
  • Current state licensure to practice nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if applicable).
