Job Summary:The RN PreOp PACU will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This includes assessing patients' preoperative and postoperative status, developing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' preoperative and postoperative status, including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, and hemodynamic stability.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education to patients and their families on postoperative care and management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- One year of experience in preoperative or PACU nursing.
- Current state licensure to practice nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if applicable).
