Position Overview:

Job Summary:
As a Ski Equipment Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases of ski and snowboard gear, as well as providing exceptional service for rentals and repairs.

Work Schedule:
Availability for weekend shifts and select holiday periods during the winter season is essential.

Employment Type:
We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities. Full-time roles may consist of either five shorter shifts or four longer shifts, while part-time positions have various shift options available.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding ski and snowboard products.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all merchandise and services following the training period.
- Welcome customers warmly and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Keep the retail space tidy and organized.
- Support management with inventory restocking and merchandise verification.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory to the supervisor.
- Communicate effectively regarding stock and equipment needs.
- Prioritize the safety of both staff and customers.
- Carry out general sales duties and maintain the store's upkeep.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to accurately complete forms and documentation.
- Background in skiing or snowboarding is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Self-driven with the capability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale systems is preferred.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working in potentially wet and slippery conditions.
- Ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment.
