Job Summary

Gabrielli Truck Sales is seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, communicating with customers, and ensuring that all needs are met in a professional and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Perform visual walk-through inspections on customer vehicles to identify concerns and note follow-up questions or details
  • Follow and track work orders from beginning to end, including invoicing and filing warranty claims
  • Update customers on status and post interoffice updates on cases as well as to dealer representatives and manufacturers across several platforms
  • Confer with sales, accounting, leasing, and parts departments to ensure proper protocol is followed for each repair order
  • Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to creatively implement necessary workflow
  • Manage and implement manufacturer guidelines to assure best practices and standards are maintained
  • Invoice and receive payments for work orders
  • Use diagnostics equipment to check vehicles and retrieve digital details to transfer and complete work order fulfillment
  • Create and allocate vendor purchase orders
  • Create estimates and receive customer approval for work orders

Requirements:

  • Associates degree minimum
  • CDK experience preferred but not mandatory
  • 1 year dealership and/or similar experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technician write-ups, manufacturer documents, and summarize in grammatically correct format
  • Ability to serve customers with a commitment to excellence, follow up, and resolution of work orders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google, and computer basics
  • Positive, friendly, and takes pride in all aspects of career
  • Professional and courteous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Work independently with time management
  • Skilled at technical or 'smart' media
  • Adept at handling situations that may arise in a professional manner
