We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to help us develop and maintain products and services that power our platform between vendors, runners, partners, and operations.

As a Full Stack Engineer at First USA, you will play a critical role in implementing intuitive interfaces and user experience among our web applications for our internal operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the front-end framework for one of our client-facing applications.
  • Work with product managers and designers to define, implement, and ship features and interfaces that are useful, usable, feasible, performant, and deliver business impact.
  • Write robust, testable, and well-crafted code that meets high standards.
  • Understand the end-user needs by balancing a strong point of view and good judgment to drive the right outcomes for business goals.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Mastery of the foundations of the web: vanilla JS, HTML5, CSS3.
  • An undergraduate degree in computer science or a related technical field, plus 2 years of professional experience, or 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Production experience with modern React/React Native, along with a state management solution (MobX, Redux).
  • Understanding of best practices around performance, responsive design, progressive enhancement, and graceful degradation.
  • Understanding of basic REST principles and some experience working with web APIs in a browser setting.
  • Experience working in the context of medium/large-scale frontend applications.
  • Experience with documentation, unit, and integration testing.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
