Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for receiving and analyzing laboratory specimens and reporting results in a timely manner in accordance with Laboratory Policies and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient specimens and report results to healthcare providers.
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely test results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related laboratory science.
  • Registered Clinical Laboratory Science certification (CLS(MLS), MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA), MT(AMT)) within six months of hire.
  • At least 12 months of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
