Join Our Nurse Residency Program

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Nurse Residency Program at CHRISTUS Health. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Program

Our Nurse Residency Program is designed to provide new graduate nurses with the tools and support needed to succeed in their careers. The program is built on a foundation of evidence-based practices and research-supported knowledge, and is led by experienced nurses who are passionate about mentoring and guiding the next generation of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a comprehensive orientation program that includes classroom instruction, clinical training, and mentorship
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each resident
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with valid, unencumbered Texas license
  • BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
