Job OverviewThis role offers a unique opportunity to tackle practical electro-mechanical technical problems, working alongside hardware and software domains. You will bring both excellent technical skills and a positive, team-centric attitude to contribute to our mission.
Key Responsibilities- Coding in C++ to manage robotic motion systems
- Designing software interfaces for motor and sensor systems
- Developing decision-making logic through coding to synchronize robot movements
- Creating thorough test procedures and tooling for production system validation
- Debugging, testing, and verification at multiple software development levels for physical systems
- BS with 3+ years of industry experience or MS with 1+ year of industry experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Highly proficient C++ coding skills
- Proficiency in Javascript, Python, and/or C is a bonus
- Experience in feedback sensors, motor sizing, navigation, and controls for multi-axis motion systems, or motor control and communication protocols
- Ability to break down complex problems into implementable systems, starting from a scrappy approach and progressively building it up
Estimated Annual Salary: $120,000 - $180,000, depending on location and experience. Ample, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
