Job Title: Director, Business Development, Digital Transformation

Klein Hersh is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our digital transformation business development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue through strategic sales and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify key prospects and establish relationships to drive pipeline growth
  • Collaborate with digital transformation practice leaders to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual booking targets
  • Develop and execute a detailed business development plan, including target accounts and a strategy for developing the pipeline
  • Build trust with prospects by demonstrating expertise in digital transformation and understanding their business needs
  • Partner with marketing to create and execute lead generation strategies
  • Collaborate with digital transformation practice leaders to execute the plan and build relationships with customers
  • Lead key C-suite meetings, communications, and negotiations
  • Provide regular updates to the management team and prepare executive leadership for customer meetings
  • Execute the digital transformation sales plan and process, including coordination of internal and external resources
  • Actively work networking contacts, professional affiliations, industry groups, and related centers of influence
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience selling consulting services in digital transformation, information technology, cybersecurity, and analytics
  • Previous experience selling to life sciences and/or healthcare clients
  • 8+ years of experience managing strategic B2B customers, executive relationships, and business development
  • Proven ability to think analytically and strategically to assess problems and opportunities with customers
  • Demonstrated success building strategic relationships with customers and driving growth
  • Persuasive and powerful communicator, able to clearly convey complex ideas and manage difficult conversations
  • Active network of C-level and other senior relationships
  • Demonstrated community involvement and activity with industry associations, civic, and/or non-profit groups
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment in professional services/consulting with proven results
  • Demonstrated expertise to drive a complex sale cycle from identification through close of deals
  • Ability to actively participate in the proposal and Statement of Work creation process
  • Excellent influence and negotiation skills; strong executive presence and business acumen
  • Motivated and self-disciplined; strong time management skills
