We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Waterbury Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective care
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Preferred: experience with Epic and Cerner electronic health records systems
