Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Instrument Tray Assembly and Quality Control: Assemble and inspect instrument trays to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Decontamination and Sterilization: Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments, rigid scopes, and other patient care equipment in accordance with hospital infection control policies and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Supply Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of supplies, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are available when needed.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the training of department personnel on new procedures and equipment, ensuring that all team members are equipped to perform their duties to the highest standard.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing, with a proven track record of quality and safety.
  • A Central Processing Certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
