The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will provide clinical support to the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services to students and patients.
- Provide clinical support to the Speech Language Pathologist in the development and implementation of treatment plans.
- Assist with the administration and interpretation of speech and language assessments.
- Provide educational support to students and families in the area of speech and language development.
- Assist with the development and implementation of educational programs and materials.
- Graduate of a SLPA program with an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program.
- Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contract.
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice.
- Must comply with accepted professional standards and practice.
