This position involves designing engaging and dynamic classes suitable for participants of varying skill levels, with oversight from the Group Exercise Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrive promptly prior to class, ensuring music is prepared, and the program is set, starting and concluding sessions on schedule.
  • Maintain precise attendance logs.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in group exercise environments.
  • Communicate equipment requirements to the management.
  • Guide new members on exercise techniques and equipment usage.
  • Address member concerns and uphold club regulations.
  • Engage in departmental activities and events.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and maintain relevant certifications.
  • Fill in for absent instructors and arrange substitutes as necessary.
  • Conduct classes in accordance with MVP standards.
  • Demonstrate exercises effectively and safely.
  • Foster a positive experience for all participants.
  • Adapt to the evolving needs and policies of the organization.
  • Participate in training sessions as required.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance at all times.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Preferred certifications from ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or NSCA.
  • At least one year of instructional experience.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Physical capability to lead diverse fitness classes.
