These positions are centered around enhancing skill acquisition and experiential learning through community involvement. Key responsibilities include delivering direct support and assistance to program participants.
The Community Support Facilitator will engage with individuals on a variety of skill enhancement activities and group initiatives, including social skills, communication, education, vocational training, community participation, and daily living tasks. Employ effective methods to instruct social and communication abilities.
Requirements:
- No previous experience necessary; comprehensive training will be provided
- High school diploma or GED is required. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
- Ability to assist in lifting program participants alongside another staff member
- Essential: valid driver's license, clean driving history, and readiness to operate agency vehicles
- Successful completion of Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check
