Clinical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and timely laboratory testing, analyzing proficiency testing samples, and completing required records/documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory testing and analysis with high accuracy and efficiency
- Assume responsibility of the department in the absence of the supervisor
- Complete all required records/documentation pertaining to patient results
- Perform stat procedures within established turnaround time targets
- Review pending logs and result logs, resolving any outstanding workload or communicating to staff relief
- Perform quality control procedures per protocol and handle all problem and/or critical laboratory specimens/test results
- A 2 Year/Associate Degree is required
- A 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred
- ASCP certification (or equivalent) is preferred or the ability to obtain a license during the first 6 months of employment
