Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Radiation Oncology department, you will be responsible for executing the treatment plans prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist for patients undergoing oncology care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor various treatment techniques and modalities as directed by the Radiation Oncologist.
- Accurately document treatment sessions and maintain comprehensive records in patient charts.
- Ensure effective communication in English to fulfill the essential duties of the role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in the use of standard office equipment such as calculators, fax machines, and photocopiers.
- Competent in computer software applications including MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and email.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education: As required by certification and/or licensure.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Minimum Experience: 0 - 1 year.
Preferred Experience: 3 years in a related role.
Certifications:
- Required: BLS - Healthcare Provider recognized by the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Not Applicable.
Licensure:
- Required: ARRT(R) or ARRT(T) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Preferred: Not Applicable.
