  • Participate in departmental committees and projects as assigned.

Inpatient Psychiatric Duties:

  • Lead daily group therapy sessions for eligible inpatients and Partial program patients.
  • Conduct utilization reviews and provide discharge planning for post-inpatient care.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work.
  • State of Michigan Social Work License (LMSW expected within 5 years of employment).
  • Experience in individual, family assessment, crisis intervention, grief and loss counseling, and discharge planning preferred.

Work Environment:

This part-time position is located at the Farmington Hills Hospital Grand River Ave. You will work Monday-Friday, 3 days a week, with a 24-hour weekly schedule. The work hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
