About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team at PennState Health's Orthopedics Department. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical staff and providing leadership and orientation to new personnel.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing is required, along with a current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Basic Life Support certification is also a must.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise clinical staff and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Lead by example and model excellent clinical skills and judgment
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in an orthopedic setting
  • Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a leadership role or supervisory capacity
  • Certification in a specialty area, such as orthopedic nursing

Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
