About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Visual Designer to join our Dow Jones Brand Marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in defining and supporting the visual identity and UI design of our brands across various marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Dow Jones' visual identity across digital, print, and environmental branding, ensuring design consistency and quality standards across different touch points.
- Collaborate with marketing, editorial, and product teams to develop visually compelling creative strategies that enhance brand recognition and drive engagement.
- Design and execute marketing collateral, digital campaigns, event branding, and promotional materials that meet and exceed digital-first and mobile-first standards.
- Translate content wireframes into visual designs, develop content wireframes in response to copy and copy strategy, and stay informed about design trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure design aligns with business goals and editorial standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional design experience in an agency or design studio setting.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and design systems.
- Hands-on UI design experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand identity, digital design, and creative execution.
- Expert-level skill in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); proficiency in Figma.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute to projects in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.
