Job Summary

As a Technical Service Associate, you will be responsible for answering customer technical inquiries and assisting in resolving quality complaints. You will provide written and verbal communication and documentation in response to customer and account manager technical information inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and gather necessary information
  • Assist sales and marketing teams with technical questions and requests
  • Contribute to the creation, dissemination, and maintenance of TRI-K product technical documents
  • Maintain a product information database to facilitate inquiry responses
  • Assist in the quality complaint/resolution process, including customer, departmental, supplier, and third-party lab interactions
  • Evaluate documentation for competitive products, new and alternate vendors of existing TRI-K products
  • Complete customer forms and questionnaires, and coding packets
  • Log and track progress of customer information requests
  • Update customer inquiries in the SalesForce database
  • Assist marketing with information and trade show materials requests
  • Perform miscellaneous laboratory and clerical tasks to fulfill technical service responsibilities

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, you must have a Bachelor's degree in science, a minimum of 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You should also have knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, and Internet software.

Work Environment

This is an environment with many interruptions. While performing the duties of this job, you may be occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
