Global Systems Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the contractor position of Global SCM Systems Support Specialist within our GSCM Systems Support team based in Midland, TX.

This role is responsible for supporting the integrity and standardization of all transactions between Ariba and SAP (S/4 HANA), reporting to the Supply Chain System Support Team Lead. The successful candidate will ensure that Ariba transactions are functioning properly and maintained, as well as assist in troubleshooting any issues. Additionally, this position will support Supply Chain processes configured within SAP.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Prioritizing, defining scenarios, documenting, and communicating the findings and recommendations of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in a timely manner to ensure the solution meets the business's requirements and expectations.
  • Monitoring, prioritizing, and troubleshooting incoming incident tickets assigned to the GSCM Systems Support team and ensuring prompt and effective communication throughout the incident lifecycle.
  • Identifying and prioritizing any defects or enhancements that need to be addressed in Ariba and SAP.
  • Liaising with SCM, AP, Ops, IT, Ariba/SAP Support, and suppliers to resolve any issues experienced by users and suppliers in Ariba and SAP.
  • Acting as a control point, enforcing data consistency across Ariba and SAP.
  • Serving as the first line of support for end-user queries, issues, and problems related to SAP and Ariba.

Required qualifications for this role include:

  • A Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, IT, or Business Administration preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to seamlessly collaborate with multiple teams to update, enhance, and troubleshoot configurations.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal guidance and adapt well to change.
  • Excellent proficiency in time management and the ability to assess and resolve tasks in a timely manner.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
