Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA Automation Specialist to join our team at Global Channel Management. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex automation systems that drive business success.

About the Role

This role requires a strong background in SCADA system development, deployment, and support, with a focus on WonderWare and Ignition platforms. You will work closely with our engineers, data managers, and other software developers to define, build, and deliver solutions to our most challenging upstream unconventional business problems.

You will be responsible for architecting, implementing, deploying, and supporting SCADA systems, as well as continuing to learn and share software industry best practices with your team members. Additionally, you will work with production and facilities teams to bring in well site data, salt water disposals, compressor site data, and any field automation into our SCADA systems for alarm historizing/trending, and display.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated solutions
  • Develop and maintain complex automation systems using WonderWare and Ignition platforms
  • Solve complex technical problems and provide expert-level support to internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement of our automation systems
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in SCADA system development, deployment, and support
  • Strong understanding of WonderWare and Ignition platforms, including IAS, InTouch, and InSQL
  • Experience working with large-scale data management systems and field data capture and production accounting systems
  • Knowledge of MQTT, Python, and Agile software development methodologies
  • Familiarity with RTUs (ROC, TotalFlow), PLCs, and related HMI hardware and software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
