Position Overview
Accratronics is on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Inspector to enhance the site Quality Team. This role will report directly to the Quality Manager and is based in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure thorough verification of products and certification documentation against established criteria, along with effective communication of any findings.
- Conduct inspections of components and assemblies during receiving inspection, machine center operations, and production assembly processes.
- Maintain precise, organized, and comprehensive inspection records.
- Keep the workspace orderly and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate within a team framework to meet organizational and departmental objectives.
- Execute additional tasks related to specific assignments as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in inspecting mechanical components.
- Proficient in using standard inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, CMM, and optical systems.
- Experience operating a CMM and VMM is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with military specifications and industry standards.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with all management levels.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills, with essential knowledge of Microsoft Office.
