Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Coordinator to join our team. As a Construction Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing construction projects, ensuring quality work meets established technical standards and company policies. You will play a key role in maintaining or building our Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) infrastructure in residential areas.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Coordinating resources and personnel as needed">
  • Calculating costs of materials and labor">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of one year of experience in maintenance, field technician, or similar work">
  • A high school diploma and a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record">
  • The ability to read and write English and use hand tools, such as electric drills, hammers, wrenches, and screwdrivers">
  • The ability to walk over all types of terrain in various weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment">
  • The ability to safely use weight-bearing equipment, such as gaffs, safety harnesses, and ladders">
  • The ability to accurately measure distances using tapes or other measuring devices">
  • The ability to climb poles using gaffs, hooks, and climbing belts as needed">
  • The ability to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires">
  • The ability to make cable connections in tight spaces by bending, reaching, and twisting">
  • The ability to read general system layouts from blueprints">
  • The ability to operate appropriate computer or test equipment associated with the position">
  • The ability to work while standing 50-70% of the time">
  • The ability to work with small components and wires to make cable connections">
  • The ability to use handheld communication devices and applications">
  • The ability to dig in all types of soil">
  • The ability to drive a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner">
  • The ability to operate machinery used for underground/overhead cable installation">
  • The ability to prioritize and organize effectively">
  • The ability to work independently">
  • The ability to use personal computers, mobile devices, and software applications">
  • The ability to perform job tasks from high places, such as poles and roofs">
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code and National Electrical Safety Code, company products and services, and basic electronics">
  • Able to work all hours and shifts as business needs dictate">

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in construction work, preferably in a similar role, is highly desirable.
