About the Job
This position requires previous job-site experience, with a focus on construction methods, tools, and equipment. You will work closely with a team of skilled laborers and tradesmen to bring construction plans to life. A strong work ethic, good attendance record, and punctuality are essential for this role.

Responsibilities
* Routinely lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more
* Transfer, carry, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, lumber, tile, saws, grout, etc
* Properly dispose of debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean and meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements
* Aid carpentry crew and sub-contractors as necessary
* Meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements by removing debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean
* Adhere to all directions from the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately
* Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment as directed
* Document job changes and daily construction work tasks to assist the project manager with paperwork
* Develop your construction skills and technique by helping the construction manager, contractors, project engineers, and builders with all aspects of the job and the daily procedures of the project so it's completed quickly
* Complete final preparations and walk homes or buildings with the construction manager and the client
* Ensure maintenance of a clean job site, watering the yard as needed to create a good exterior appearance
* Take part in the forward planning process to ensure the building will be well-maintained in the future

Qualifications
* A high school diploma or its equivalent is a mandatory requirement for this position
* The ability to lift items weighing over 50 lbs is crucial for effectively carrying out job responsibilities
* It is essential to possess reliable transportation and maintain a clean driving record for this role
* Excellent communication skills are a necessity for seamless interaction with team members
* Have a high school diploma or equivalent
* Be familiar with basic skills and construction methods, such as how to use construction equipment and tools
* Have good physical stamina to climb ladders and climb stairs, work outdoors for long periods of time
* Previous work experience as an admin or in the construction industry is valuable but not required
* History of professionalism, being a team player, adhering to project schedules, regular attendance at work, and a strong work ethic
