This is a complex employee-facing data and analytics web application. Prior experience working in the Consumer-Packaged Goods Retail (CPG Retail) industry would be highly desired.

Responsibilities:

This is a new data platform and this team is operating as a startup. As such, your role will involve designing, implementing, and managing RBS's quality architecture, ensuring robust testing frameworks, standards, tools, and techniques; as well as executing manual test strategies and scripting automated tests to assess usability, accuracy, performance, security, and functionality, aiming for zero defects in production. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify and mitigate quality risks across the end-to-end data value stream. Strong leadership in quality architecture design, quality processes, attention to detail, and hands-on expertise in testing are essential.

Requirements:

7+ years in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a senior/lead role. Expertise in designing and implementing quality architecture and test strategies. Strong experience with manual and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation. In-depth knowledge of usability, performance, security, and functional testing methodologies. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating testing tools within DevOps environments. Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach. Excellent communication skills to convey complex quality concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Leadership skills to work cross-functionally with development and product teams. Certification in QA methodologies or tools (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus. Previous experience with an inaugural Dev Team or startups is a plus.
