Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our commercial real estate properties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and failures, and take appropriate corrective actions to resolve them efficiently.
- Receive and prioritize work orders or service requests, ensuring proper documentation and timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of the building's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify issues or potential risks and address them promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials/equipment used, and documentation of inspections or repairs.
- Respond promptly and courteously to tenant maintenance requests and inquiries, maintaining a high level of customer service and tenant satisfaction.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a commercial real estate or facilities management environment.
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Basic understanding of carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants and colleagues.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining work order logs and accessing relevant information.
- Physical stamina and flexibility to perform physical tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in different weather conditions.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Vocational training or certification in maintenance or a relevant field.
- Experience in commercial real estate or facilities management.
- Knowledge of specialized maintenance systems and equipment.
