Job Title: Landscape Manager

At Applied Medical, we are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and maintenance of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive landscape maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Supervise and manage a team of landscapers and groundskeepers to ensure high-quality results.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized landscaping projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations and environmental standards, ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards.
  • Monitor and manage the landscaping budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, ensuring optimal water efficiency.
  • Plan and execute seasonal planting and maintenance activities, ensuring our outdoor spaces remain beautiful and functional.
  • Maintain accurate records of landscaping activities and expenses, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for landscaping staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in landscape management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of plant care, pest control, and irrigation systems, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on employee development and engagement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in landscape design software, with the ability to create detailed plans and designs.
  • Valid driver's license, with the ability to travel to off-site locations as needed.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
