About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Foreperson to join our team at California's Great America. As a key member of our landscape maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of our park's landscape features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement landscape maintenance plans and schedules to ensure the park's landscape features are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Provide direction and leadership to landscape maintenance associates, including training, scheduling, and evaluating their performance.
  • Ensure that all landscape maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other park departments to ensure that landscape concerns are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Prepare accurate cost analyses and forecasts for landscape projects.
  • Communicate effectively with management, associates, and customers to ensure that landscape maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in horticulture or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in landscape maintenance, irrigation, pest control, arbor care, turf, and ornamental horticulture.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • NCDEA certification to apply pesticides or obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
