Cardiovascular Intensive Care Travel Nurse

Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 48 hours
Shift Length: 12 hours
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the CVPICU.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain proficiency in handling ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation.
- Float between units as necessary, excluding OR, PACU, and ED.
Weekend and Holiday Requirements:
- Must be available to work 6 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule.
- Flexibility to work holidays is essential.
Qualifications:
- Active California RN license (in hand or pending with ETA).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVPICU or CTICU.
- Cardiac training and pediatric cardiac experience are mandatory.
- Familiarity with heart transplant procedures is required.
- Current certifications in BLS and PALS.
Unit Details:
- The unit consists of 30-37 beds, focusing on post-operative cardiac care and complex congenital conditions.
- Patient age range from neonatal to 23 years.
