Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Security Monitor I for our Community Corrections program. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our facility and its residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the safety and security of the facility population, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor resident activities and report any suspicious behavior or policy violations.
  • Conduct regular counts, searches, and inspections as required.
  • Facilitate the intake and discharge processes for residents in accordance with established protocols.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to resident workers, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Respond to emergencies, providing basic medical aid and ensuring the safety of all individuals in the facility.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in correctional facility operations is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Must be available to work various shifts as needed.
  • Completion of required training programs is mandatory.
