Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our CAOS Team at Lockheed Martin Space, a pioneer in the aerospace industry. As a member of this team, you will work on developing, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software solutions for the NGA, utilizing DevSecOps processes and tools.
  • Work on DevSecOps pipelines in cloud and non-cloud environments, collaborating with the pipeline and platform team.
  • Analyze data to improve existing systems and increase productivity, developing and implementing systems software.
  • Work with automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines).
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in DevSecOps processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration / continuous deployment methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple functional disciplines, multiple contractors, and multiple locations.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in Linux (VM security hardening, ports and protocols, crons, ssl).
  • Experience in Puppet scripting (ruby).
  • Experience in Shell scripting.
  • Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Containers, Apache, Tomcat.
  • Willingness to travel if needed.
Security Clearance:

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
